Cool that makes it much easier...

Guide is also written here:

Let me know if anything is unclear or needs updating.

Just spotted that some pages (like the Home page) display the audio DB icon on the browser tab instead of the URepo one.

Not a big issue - but thought I'd let you know in case you hadn't spotted it.

Thanks
Rob

Another really small one :)

Just spotted that the header of the page:

http://www.urepo.org/collection/robwebset

Refers to theAudioDB

Thanks

One more really small thing, looks like a copy paste error. On the guide page the line for the forum in the addon states:

Code: Select all

<forum>This can include the latest news for your Add-on such as: Fixed feature 1</forum>

I think this may have been copied from the news tag?

Not serious, but thought I'd mention it :)

Love all the improvements your putting in ... nearly done with my addons - another 3 to go!

Thanks
Rob

The site now reads the <donate></donate> tag from the addon.xml but how are you thinking about formatting this?

On my quick test a Paypal direct link is quite complicated and I ran into trouble with characters in the URL which broke the XML parsing.

Let me know what info you want to put in the donate tag so I can test.

Hi Zag,

I was thinking about the same link that I have at the bottom of all my support threads, like:

Code: Select all

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=B6N5B293FUBP4

Thanks

Yeh that's what I tried but I'm getting some weird xml parse error with that link, and my own similar paypal link. I think it might be those strange underscores causing PHP's xml parser to throw its toys out of the pram.

Will have another look...

EDIT: A quick way round is if we just use the Paypal ID only at the end of that URL.

EDIT2: yep that works, tested with my hosted_button_id

<donate>ZYFYNBF3WFS94</donate>

@robwebset I've updated all your Add-ons manually with the above link.

Any new Add-ons you create will need the addon.xml <donate> tag though.

Thanks for doing that - I hate to be a pain .... but each addons donate link is different - as I'm always interested to see what the donation is for.

Is it easier for you if I push new versions?

Thanks
Rob
